The Kidney Training Phantom is constructed of transparent, anechoic, nonflowing, water-based gel, approximately 10 x 16 x 20 mm, with an embedded kidney. The kidney (~200cc) is homogeneous with no internal structures. Protected by a membrane, the phantom's flesh-like consistency simulates needle resistance. The phantom total weight is 9.6lbs. |
