The Rachel Anthropomorphic Breast Phantom is a unique test instrument that produces an image with the contrast range and details found on a clinical mammogram. This phantom may be used for evaluation of effects of changing mammographic imaging parameters such as machines, machine settings, film/screen combinations, and digital image processing. The use of a simulated mammogram complements the usual test objects by providing an overall visual comparison.
