The Full Field Digital Phantom is specifically designed for assessment of digital system resolution and verification of CCD stitching. This phantom provides a series of L-shaped line pair targets from 4 to 12 line pair per mm. These targets are contiguously positioned to cover an 18 cm x 24 cm area at midplane in a 1 cm thick tissue equivalent slab. Visual inspection of the resulting image permits quick and definitive assessment of stitching continuity and system resolution.
