The MapPHAN is a water equivalent phantom that holds any MapCHECK at isocenter for rotational dosimetry. MapPHAN with MapCHECK has been successfully tested for RapidArc, TomoTherapy, and VMAT, and offers users an accurate and convenient rotational dosimetry solution. Coronal and saggittal measurements are supported, and any new or existing MapCHECK user may upgrade to MapPHAN. Effective for Head and Neck Cases
A 98.5% pass rate was achieved using 3% and 3mm DTA criteria in absolute dose mode. A 93.1% pass rate was achieved using 2% and 2mm DTA criteria in absolute dose mode. The MapPHAN model used with the MapCHECK for the displayed results has a 5 cm water equivalent thickness from both the top and bottom of the measurement plane.
