MapCALC for Independent 2D Dose & MU Calculations

Complex treatment techniques such as IMRT and SRS do not have uniform dose distributions, therefore the need for a two dimensional independent calculation presents itself. Unlike other systems which calculate a single point dose, MapCALC uses extremely fast and precise algorithms for the entire two dimensional field. Because MapCALC operates directly within the familiar MapCHECK application, the system is extremely easy to setup and learn.

MU Calculations
MU and single point dose calculations are supported for photons and electrons. Simply open a plan file, enter required parameters and MapCALC completes the calculation using a specific physics algorithm. Upon completion of the calculation, reports can be stored in the database and made available for export in pdf format. IVD (diode) factors are also available.
